The appointment, effective
immediately, was made by Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad.
Ghodousi will be responsible
for articulating the official media positions of the ministry in coordination
with senior management and relevant authorities.
His mandate includes
fostering comprehensive coordination among the public relations departments of
the oil industry, overseeing the implementation of approved public relations
policies, and developing an effective roadmap for continuous engagement with
media and stakeholders.
Ghodousi is also tasked with
transparently reflecting the actions and efforts of the oil industry’s
management and staff in serving the nation.
Furthermore, the new
spokesperson will focus on promoting a culture of preserving intergenerational
energy resources and actively communicating energy conservation and optimal
consumption policies, particularly in light of the country’s specific
circumstances.
Ghodousi’s responsibilities
also encompass strategic planning and comprehensive oversight of the
documentation of actions, achievements, and the reconstruction efforts of the
oil industry following the recent “imposed war,” the statement said.
The Minister of Petroleum expressed
his confidence in Ghodousi’s ability to fulfill his organizational duties and
assigned tasks.
