According to the Public Relations Office of Gachsaran Polymer
Industries, the overall progress of the project reached 41.13% as of February
4, with engineering progress advancing to 82.57%.
The report noted that the construction of the reactors for the project
has been completed, and final tests are underway. With these developments, the
installation of fixed equipment is expected to commence shortly, accelerating
the pace of the project’s implementation.
The Gachsaran Heavy Polyethylene Project, a key initiative in Iran’s
petrochemical sector, aims to enhance domestic production capacity and meet
growing demands for high-density polyethylene. The project's swift progress
highlights the country’s efforts to strengthen its industrial base and promote
self-sufficiency in the petrochemical field.
