During his visit to the complex, Abbaszadeh emphasized the importance
of accelerating construction, noting that the project has achieved 50%
completion. “The feedstock for the Dehloran Petrochemical Complex is secured,
and operations will soon restart with renewed vigor,” he announced.

Highlighting the government's focus on Ilam Province, Abbaszadeh stated, “Under
the Minister of Petroleum’s directive, we are tasked with addressing the
challenges hindering this project and facilitating its swift completion.”
Prioritizing the Olefin Unit
Marzieh Joda, the Petroleum Minister’s advisor on petrochemical and refining
affairs, stressed the strategic importance of the complex, urging financial
arrangements to expedite the project. “Our priority is to commission the olefin
unit, given the substantial national investment already made,” she said.
Local Leaders Push for Progress
Assadollah Cheraghi, a parliamentarian representing Dehloran and neighboring
areas, described the complex as a “national asset” with immense economic and
employment potential. “We are committed to overcoming the obstacles and
ensuring the project's successful completion,” he said, adding that feedstock
issues for the NGL unit must also be resolved.

Shahriar Abbasi, Deputy Governor for Economic Affairs in Ilam, emphasized the
