Speaking at a specialized meeting of petrochemical excellence managers
held at the Kangan Petro-Refinery on Wednesday, Abbaszadeh underscored the
pivotal role of innovation and collaboration in driving the industry forward.
"The NPC belongs to the petrochemical sector as a whole,"
Abbaszadeh said. "We have initiated coordination sessions and working
groups with holding companies to foster better cooperation."
Highlighting the balanced growth of the Kangan Petro-Refinery in line
with excellence award criteria, Abbaszadeh described the company as a benchmark
for innovation. "For the first time in the country, this company is set to
produce ammonia from surplus hydrogen in its PDH unit, marking a major step
forward in development and excellence," he added.
Abbaszadeh reiterated the importance of advancing value-added product
chains as a core strategy for NPC. "The industry must focus on completing
and expanding these chains to ensure sustainable growth," he said.
He praised the Excellence Award as an opportunity for companies to
benefit from the expertise of evaluators, enhancing learning and development
across the sector.
Also addressing the meeting, former NPC Managing Director Mohammadreza
Nematzadeh emphasized the importance of teamwork in the industry’s growth.
"The success and development of the petrochemical industry have always
been achieved through collaboration among all stakeholders," he said.
Nematzadeh urged collective support for NPC's leadership. "With
the capabilities of industry managers, we can overcome challenges and
accelerate progress in this sector, which generates the highest value-added
returns," he concluded.
