TEHRAN (NIPNA) – Hassan Abbaszadeh, Iran’s Deputy Petroleum Minister for Petrochemical Affairs and Managing Director of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), began his first operational visit to Bushehr province on Wednesday. The one-day trip includes inspections of several petrochemical projects in Assaluyeh and Kangan.

Accompanied by Engineer Nemat Zadeh and senior NPC officials, Abbaszadeh arrived in Bushehr to visit key projects, including Petro Pardis Sina, Kangan Petro-refinery, and a meeting with managers of investment group projects under Ahdaf Investment Group (Soroush Mahestan, Negin Mahestan, and Alay Mahestan).

This visit underscores Abbaszadeh’s focus on driving forward development and collaboration in Iran’s strategic petrochemical sector.

Abbaszadeh, who was appointed acting head of NPC by Petroleum Minister Mohsen Paknejad on October 2, officially assumed the role of Deputy Oil Minister and Managing Director of NPC on November 12.

The visit highlights NPC’s commitment to advancing petrochemical projects in Bushehr province, a critical hub for the country’s energy and petrochemical industries.
