Speaking at a national conference of petrochemical company inspection
heads on Tuesday, November 5, Hassan Abbaszadeh, the CEO of NPC, emphasized
that the industry, by leveraging all available capacities, can meet the goals
set for balanced and sustainable development.
“Smart inspection systems and standardized procedures across
petrochemical holdings and companies are essential to enhancing performance
along the value chain and ensuring sustainable production,” Abbaszadeh said.
He added that inspection units, working in collaboration with other
departments, can foster a secure and calm environment at production sites,
essential for smooth operations.
He also highlighted the constant support from regulatory bodies
alongside company management in ensuring industry safety and compliance.
Addressing the heads of petrochemical inspection units, Abbaszadeh
encouraged them to proactively address internal issues within their units and
assured them of NPC’s full support should they require governmental assistance.
"We are always ready to provide cooperation and assistance where
needed," he said.
He also underscored the role of inspection bodies in providing
accurate reports and expert advice to help managers make informed decisions.
Abbaszadeh stressed that as the petrochemical industry continues to grow, the
cooperation and alignment between inspection units would be crucial to
maintaining high operational standards.
Finally, he called for specialized training programs for mid-level and
technical staff in inspection departments, noting that the adoption of modern
methods and up-to-date knowledge is essential for enhancing the quality and
efficiency of inspection activities.
