TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Mohammad Maghareh has been appointed as the acting Head of Public Relations at Iran's National Petrochemical Company (NPC), according to a statement issued on Tuesday by NPC's acting CEO, Hassan Abbaszadeh.

In the formal appointment letter, Abbaszadeh cited Maghareh’s qualifications and extensive experience in public relations, entrusting him with key responsibilities to enhance NPC’s internal and external communications.

Maghareh’s mandate includes strengthening organizational unity within NPC, elevating the company’s national and international brand, and supporting Iran's petrochemical industry's participation in both domestic and global events.

"Your efforts should focus on promoting the stature of the workforce, enhancing both intra- and inter-organizational relations, and facilitating the petrochemical sector’s access to international markets, particularly through platforms like the Iran Plast Exhibition," Abbaszadeh stated in the letter.

Maghareh is expected to collaborate closely with the Ministry of Petroleum’s public relations office and other key stakeholders across the petrochemical sector, aiming for unified communication strategies across the industry.

Additionally, he is tasked with modernizing the company's communication methods to align with global trends in information dissemination.

Maghareh brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having held several key positions within NPC’s public relations department from 2005 to 2019, including serving as Editor-in-Chief of the NPC News Portal and Deputy Head of Public Relations. He also served as the Executive Director of the Iran Plast International Exhibition from 2015 to 2019.
