In a video message to the 17th Shiraz International Oil, Gas,
Refining, and Petrochemical Exhibition, Hassan Abbaszadeh congratulated all
industry players on the event.
He emphasized that the petrochemical industry, alongside the country's
natural resources such as oil and gas, has grown and prospered, bringing along
other industries, consultants, and contractors as well.
He highlighted that the current installed capacity of the
petrochemical industry stands at approximately 100 million tons annually.
Abbaszadeh expressed optimism that with the achievement of the development goals
outlined in the Seventh Development Plan, and the efforts of the National
Petrochemical Company, this figure will rise to 130 million tons.
Abbaszadeh urged industry stakeholders to seriously consider investing
in the petrochemical sector to ensure the realization of the Supreme Leader’s
directives for 8% economic growth.
He reiterated that with proper planning, the petrochemical industry
will achieve this annual growth rate throughout the Seventh Development Plan.
He also extended his gratitude to the organizers of the 17th Shiraz
International Exhibition and expressed hope that visitors would benefit from
the various exhibition booths, especially in the petrochemical sector.
