Speaking at the Second Process Safety Management Conference held at
the National Iranian Oil Company's conference center, Mohammad Reza Haidarzadeh
stressed the critical importance of enhancing safety culture within industries,
particularly in the petrochemical sector. "We are facing unjust sanctions,
and our equipment is aging," he remarked.
Haidarzadeh emphasized that a focused approach to process safety
management can boost productivity, even in the context of deteriorating
infrastructure. He highlighted that the record production was made possible
through diligent adherence to safety management practices.
During his address, Haidarzadeh also outlined several key areas of
focus for the conference, including strengthening the culture of accident
prevention, analyzing incidents, continuous process monitoring, and empowering
employees. These topics are expected to be discussed in detail during the
specialized sessions of the conference.
