In a message on Saturday, President Pezeshkian expressed both
condolences and congratulations to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali
Khamenei, as well as to the oppressed and freedom-seeking people worldwide.
He emphasized that the loss of Nasrallah, a key figure in the
resistance movement, would only strengthen Hezbollah and its fight against
oppression.
"The martyrdom of the distinguished resistance leader and
Hezbollah’s eternal commander, Hassan Nasrallah, has solidified the roots of
the resistance even further. His name will forever shine in the annals of
Islam," Pezeshkian said, reiterating that such figures cannot be replaced,
but their path will continue.
Pezeshkian also claimed that the attack was part of a broader
U.S.-Israeli alliance. "The global community will not forget that the
command for this terrorist attack was issued from New York, and the Americans
cannot absolve themselves of complicity with the Zionists," he asserted.
The President called the death a significant blow to the resistance
but expressed confidence that Hezbollah would emerge even stronger.
He concluded his message by offering condolences to Ayatollah Khamenei
and the global community of the oppressed, declaring that the flag of
resistance against oppression would not fall.
