TEHRAN (NIPNA) - Ali Bagheri, Director of Research and Domestic Production at the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), announced the launch of a new online platform by the end of 2024. This platform will allow companies to register their needs and collaborate for participation and project execution within the petrochemical industry.

Speaking at the 18th Iranplast International Exhibition, Bagheri emphasized the importance of collaboration among Iranian petrochemical companies to drive innovation and meet the industry's requirements. The platform aims to consolidate company needs, spanning strategic, operational, and technical areas such as equipment, energy, and feedstock.

Bagheri explained that traditional methods, such as advertisements in newspapers or social media, are insufficient to communicate these needs. Instead, a comprehensive online platform is necessary, allowing for real-time updates on the industry's demands.

To ensure the effectiveness of the platform, a team of experts will assess and certify potential contributors, ensuring their compatibility with the industry's requirements. The initiative aims to optimize collaboration, helping suppliers meet the sector’s needs in areas such as customized pumps and advanced technologies.

Bagheri also praised the Iranplast Exhibition for connecting manufacturers and consumers, enabling the exchange of knowledge and technological advancements. He noted that the exhibition provides an opportunity for companies to introduce cutting-edge equipment and respond to emerging market demands.

He highlighted the success of the 17th exhibition, which introduced energy-saving innovations and led to the establishment of several downstream companies that are now recognized in the current event.
