The symbolic unveiling ceremony of two catalyst production units and
10 petrochemical products took place today (Saturday, May 11) in the presence
of Morteza Shahmirzai, CEO of the NPC, on the final day of the exhibition.
The Ziegler-Natta catalyst production unit with an annual capacity of
10 tons, established by Arya Polymer Company, and the molecular sieve adsorbent
catalyst production unit for paraxylene and metaxylene with an annual
production capacity of 200 tons, established by Niko Foroozan Refinery
Services, were among the units inaugurated in the Petrochemical Special
Economic Zone.
Furthermore, Urmia Petrochemical Company introduced sulfur-coated
nitrogen fertilizer aimed at enhancing the quality of agricultural products,
Slow Release urea product with advanced polymer coating, produced by Atlas
Group with the support of the NPC, and a nanofluid productivity enhancer for
cooling loops during hot seasons by Zagros Petrochemical Company.
Polymer Arya Sasol also showcased three products: HCH5020 heavy
polyethylene, HCH5520 heavy polyethylene, and LEC1969 light polyethylene.
Additionally, Tabriz Petrochemical Company unveiled three special
grades of ABS compound, and Jam Petrochemical Company introduced the
homopolymer polypropylene product (HP515M).
The twenty-eighth International Oil, Gas, Refining, and Petrochemical
Exhibition, themed "Oil Industry; Production Leap, Technological
Optimization," was held for four days at the permanent fairgrounds in
Tehran.
With over 1,750 Iranian and foreign companies participating in this
major oil event, including upstream oil and gas companies, exploration and
production, domestic manufacturers, midstream and downstream gas industries,
refining and petrochemicals, as well as technology parks, universities,
startups, and other oil industry-related companies, the exhibition served as a
platform for extensive industry networking and collaboration.
