TEHRAN (NIPNA) -- Mohammad Reza Heydarzadeh, CEO of Arya Sasol Polymer Company, outlined the company's objectives for the calendar year 1403 (which began on March 21), emphasizing the importance of sustaining stable production and ensuring accident-free operations.

Addressing shareholders at the company's annual general meeting, held with a 94% attendance rate at the Shahid Soleimani Hall, Heydarzadeh elaborated on the company's performance in the past year and its plans for the future.

"Arya Sasol, through the conversion of ethane into ethylene and subsequent delivery to operational units, has achieved an annual production capacity of 375,000 tons of light polyethylene, 375,000 tons of medium and heavy polyethylene, and 100,000 tons of C3+," stated Heydarzadeh, highlighting the company's activities.

He also announced the delivery of 175,000 tons of ethylene to the EB unit of Pars Petrochemical Company, stating that any surplus ethylene production is exported either via the West Ethylene pipeline or through maritime transportation.

Heydarzadeh proudly reported a 10% increase in production compared to the previous year, with the company producing 1,960,956 tons of products in the past year, surpassing its previous production records.

Furthermore, he disclosed an impressive 23% growth in revenue, reaching 338,808 billion rials, indicating the company's robust financial performance.

Explaining the factors contributing to the increased revenue, Heydarzadeh attributed it to higher exchange rates, decreased feedstock prices, and increased sales volume. However, he also acknowledged challenges such as the decline in global product prices and increased operational taxes.

Heydarzadeh concluded by outlining the company's long-term goals, which include creating sustainable profitability, financial transparency, and maintaining product quality. He emphasized the company's commitment to accident-free operations and minimizing environmental pollution as central to its activities.
