Abdolali Ali-Askari, speaking at the 10th Excellence Award in the
Petrochemical Industry, highlighted the pivotal role of the petrochemical
sector as a leading industry and hope for the country's future. "We hope
to take significant strides in Iran's economic advancement through the
development of this industry," he stated.
Ali-Askari added, "Ambitious goals have been planned for the
petrochemical industry, and it is Iran's right to reach a $100 billion value
for the products of this industry. Achieving this goal requires commendable
excellence in companies."
Underlining the contemporary multifaceted warfare, encompassing soft
and economic aspects, he emphasized the necessity for earnest efforts and
internal reinforcement to foster a resilient economy.
Ali-Askari emphasized that focusing on governance excellence in the
petrochemical industry could serve as a model for other organizations to better
support the private sector.
The 10th Excellence Award in the Petrochemical Industry, held with the
presence of prominent figures including Morteza Shahmirzai, CEO of the National
Petrochemical Company, Vahidreza Zeydifar, Deputy Minister of Engineering,
Research, and Technology of the Ministry of Petroleum, Mehdi Alimadadi, Deputy
Minister of Development, Management, and Human Resources of the Ministry of
Petroleum, Abdolhossein Bayat, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Oil
Industry Pension Funds, Abdolali Ali-Askari, PGPIC CEO, and Babak Afghahi, CEO
of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment Company (Tamin), was themed
"Production Growth with a Focus on Strengthening the Supply Chain"
and honored the winners of this edition's festival.
