Ali-Mohammad Basaghzadeh, speaking at the closing ceremony of the 10th
Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award, asserted, "With over half a
century of service to the country, the petrochemical industry holds a special
position in the national economy."
He considered the completion of the value chain as one of the
priorities of the secretariat of the Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award,
adding, "The development document of the petrochemical industry's value
chain is entering the implementation phase with the strong arm of the
Excellence Award."
Basaghzadeh stated, "The direction of the National Petrochemical
Company is towards increasing value-added and self-sufficiency in the
downstream product supply chain, which will be realized with the strong support
of the Excellence Award."
He emphasized that companies' efforts to remove production obstacles
are another priority of the National Petrochemical Company, and these efforts
are evaluated and introduced to other companies as a model for emulation.
The secretariat of the Excellence Award highlights the development of
supply chain capabilities, productivity improvement, and increasing safety
levels and environmental protection in the evaluation processes as the most
important issues.
The 10th Petrochemical Industry Excellence Award, attended by Seyyed
Soltan Mortazavi, Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare, Morteza
Shahmirzai, CEO of the National Petrochemical Company, Vahidreza Zeydifar,
Deputy Minister of Engineering, Research, and Technology of the Ministry of
Petroleum, Abdolhossein Bayat, Chairman of the Boards of Directors of Oil
Industry Pension Funds, Abdolali Ali-Askari, CEO of Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (PGPIC), and Babak Afghahi, CEO of Oil, Gas, and Petrochemical Investment
Company (Tamin), was held with the slogan "Production Growth with a Focus
on Strengthening the Supply Chain" at the International Conference Center
of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), and the winners of this
edition were honored.
