In a statement on Wednesday, Morteza Shahmirzai, during his visit to
the 14th specialized exhibition for the construction of oil industry equipment
in Khuzestan, commended the valuable accomplishments of this exhibition.
He expressed pride in the active participation of industrial provinces
in the path towards domestication.
Shahmirzai added, "We always emphasize supporting domestic
production. Producers must strive to build trust through increased activity and
higher quality, seeking innovation in tandem with building trust – a
dual-action approach."
Stressing the potential of utilizing existing capacities by
incorporating global knowledge and technologies, Shahmirzai remarked,
"Maximizing the potential of local producers and the domestic industry for
the transfer of technical knowledge, localization, and the development of new
technologies can lead to the realization of the planned developments for the
petrochemical industry."
The Deputy Petroleum Minister underscored the necessity of supporting
capable Iranian manufacturers, stating, "The country has excellent
capacities for the activities of Iranian manufacturers, and we support Iranian
equipment and parts manufacturers."
According to the report, during his visit, the official also toured
the exhibition booth of the Oil Industry Museum in Khuzestan, organized by the
National South Oilfields Company.
The 14th specialized exhibition for the construction of oil industry
equipment in Khuzestan was hosted by the National Iranian South Oil Company,
the National Iranian Drilling Company, and the Arvandan Oil and Gas Company.
This year's exhibition featured the participation of over 281
companies from 16 provinces, with attendees from six foreign countries. The
event served as a platform to introduce the latest domestic achievements in the
field of equipment required for the oil industry.
In conclusion, the Deputy Petroleum Minister and NPC CEO, through his
visit to the exhibition, announced the Ministry of Petroleum’s unwavering
support in addressing the challenges faced by Iranian companies.
