The head of Persian Gulf University, after signing the agreement with
Bushehr Petrochemical Company at the booth of Shastan Commercial Investment
Company, told Nipna reporter that the agreement was signed based on the
university's strategic document and meeting the needs of the industry with
regard to the importance of applied research.
Mohammad Modarresi, emphasizing that after signing the agreement, it
is expected that the university and industry will cover each other's needs,
said: "Persian Gulf University is leaving behind its fourth decade and is
active in various fields from humanities to biological sciences, engineering,
economics and petrochemicals."
He added: "Based on this agreement, we will direct research in
the field of postgraduate education towards the needs of the petrochemical
industry."
Industry-university link
Subsequently, the head of research, technology and innovation of
Bushehr Petrochemical Company, emphasizing that Bushehr Petrochemical Company
has more than 22 research projects with reputable universities and
knowledge-based companies in the country under implementation, said: "The
purpose of signing this agreement is to help develop the country's industry so
that in addition to the experience of experts from the university and professors
can also benefit."

Petrochemical Company also reminded: "The connection between university
and industry caused us not to need to supply from abroad in the field of ATR
reactor; HAZOP and HAZID projects were also like this."
The 27th Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and
Petrochemicals with the slogan "Oil Industry, Technological Production and
Optimal Consumption" started on Wednesday (May 17) at the permanent
location of Tehran International Exhibitions and will continue until next
Saturday (May 20).
