Speaking at the Iran Petrochemical Forum,
Dehghani said that the total volume of trade between the two countries was $13
billion in 2018 before decreasing following the United States' withdrawal from
the JCPOA.
He also mentioned that 3 million tons of urea
fertilizer have been exported to India.
Dehghani highlighted that international
sanctions, India's internal laws, and restrictions imposed by Indian ports on
Iranian ships are the main obstacles to Iran's export to India.
He expressed hope that continuing negotiations
would yield the desired results in the coming weeks.
