This statement was made during the 8th meeting held to review the
progress and challenges of petrochemical projects in various regions of Iran.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister of Petroleum and the
CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC), where the progress and challenges
of petrochemical projects were discussed.
During the meeting, Shahmirzaei emphasized the importance of aligning
the goals of shareholders and investors to accelerate the implementation of
plans.
He further added that the NPC is ready for any interaction and support
in facilitating or eliminating challenges in the construction and completion of
petrochemical projects.
The Deputy Minister of Petroleum also stated that some managers and
executives promised to launch and put into operation their projects by the end
of this calendar year which began on March 21.
These projects include the environmental projects of Bid Boland 2 flare
gas collection project and the Kermanshah petrochemical development project, in
addition to the ten petrochemical projects that were previously announced.
It is expected that with the implementation of these projects, the
production capacity of the petrochemical industry will grow this year.
The meeting focused on the management of the projects of the NPC, in the
presence of the CEO of the Iranian Petrochemical Investment Group, the director
of projects of Petrol Holding, and the CEOs of petrochemical companies
Dehdasht, Zanjan, Tabriz, and Kermanshah.
The implementation of the gas collection project of Bid Boland 2 was
also discussed.
In conclusion, the meeting to review the progress and challenges of
petrochemical projects in Iran was a success, with promises made to accelerate
the implementation of projects.
