As per the public relations and international affairs department of
Jam Petrochemical Company, the Head of Linear Light Polyethylene Operation
stated that the LLDPE plant achieved this milestone for the seventh consecutive
year.
Ali Salimzadeh, referring to Jam's production and feedstock balance
and petrochemical products, added that the plant has exceeded its nominal
annual production capacity of 300,000 tons by producing more than 387,000 tons
in the year 1401, which is equivalent to 114% of its production plan and 129%
of the plant's nominal capacity.
By achieving this record, the facility’s output capacity has been
increased by over 87,000 tons.
The linear light polyethylene unit at Jam Petrochemical is one of the
largest polymer units in Iran, with the ability to produce over 60 different
grades of linear light and heavy polyethylene with various applications,
including injection molding, rotomolding, monofilament, caps & closures,
and film.
The head of the operation of linear light polyethylene of Jam
Petrochemical further explained that the unit's products are widely used in
packaging industries, home appliance production, textile, agricultural
industries, and automobile manufacturing.
Last year, the linear light polyethylene plant of Jam Petrochemical
Company produced seven different types of polyethylene products, changed grades
19 times, and introduced a new HMI grade with a flow index of 35, branded as
5035HD, which was designed and mass-produced for the first time in the country
at the Jam Petrochemical LLDPE Plant.
Additionally, the 6LL-235F film grade with Hexen-1 comonomer was
successfully tested and produced in 1401 at Jam's linear light polyethylene
unit.
