Alireza Sedighizadeh, the CEO of Karon Petrochemical Company, during a
ceremony to unveil the foam used in car seats on Tuesday, said Iran has various
capabilities and a special look at self-sufficiency and innovation and today's
event is the starting point for the cooperation of Iran's petrochemical and
automotive industries.
The foam is produced by from KCS-20 that is supplied by Karun
Petrochemical Plant.
Emphasizing the necessity of developing petrochemical complexes with
liquid feedstock, he added: “Currently, the feedstock of 10% of petrochemical
complexes in the country is liquid, and it is necessary for the petrochemical
industry to move towards the development of these complexes because it is true
that it has less production tonnage, but higher employment and value added
will be achieved.”
The CEO of Karun Petrochemical Company emphasized: “The most important
parameter of a car is its quality, and the quality of the car seat is also very
important.”
