Mobin Energy Persian Gulf Company, as a
supplier of ancillary services to petrochemical industries located in Assaluyeh
region, southern Iran, in order to reduce pollution, protect the environment
and save energy in the region, has launched a wastewater treatment facility by
ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis (RO) method.
The design and construction of plant carried
out by the Mashinsazi Vijeh Company, relying on the ability of local engineers
and based on the latest up-to-date technologies in the world.
The equipment needed in this project, despite
the restrictions caused by sanctions, was provided by two domestic manufacturers
based on the latest standards.
In the effluent treatment unit, 11,520 cubic
meters per day of effluent received from petrochemical plants with TDS of about
7,440 mg/l passes through the ozonation stages (with a capacity of 30 kg/h
ozone), disk filter, ultrafiltration and finally through three stages of reverse
osmosis (RO) and returns 1,824 cubic meters of service water with TDS of less
than 2,200 mg/l and 5,760 cubic meters per day of tap water with TDS of less
than 5 mg/l.
