the strategy of the Ministry of Petroleum and special support will be given to
the petrochemical industry to develop relations with countries."
Pointing out that the upstream oil industry needs heavy
investment, he added: "Foreign companies and countries are very interested
in participating in the Iranian petrochemical industry, and despite the
sanctions, we are witnessing the arrival of many companies in this field."
The Director General of International Affairs of the
National Petrochemical Company emphasized: "I hope that by using the
experiences gained in the petrochemical industry, all units will work together
and take full advantage of the new position and strategies of the new administration
for the benefit of the country."
Alimorad described the growth of knowledge-based companies
in the country as an important event and, referring to the favorable capacities
in the country, said: "Focusing on this area has also been considered by
foreign companies, so that now one of the foreign companies is very willing to
negotiate with Senior Director of Petrochemical Research and Technology Company
to supply catalysts and chemicals.”
He continued: "Venezuela is a country that needs the
petrochemical industry because of sanctions. In the last meeting with the CEOs
of petrochemical companies, I suggested that companies pay special attention to
this area, such as Venezuela, which is a pristine and untouched area.”
He added: "Venezuela is also ready to cooperate with
Iran in the field of petrochemical industry in order to achieve a very good
result with a small investment, very low risk, and I suggest that we focus on
this field in line with the strategy of the Minister of Petroleum."
