According to Shahid Tondgouyan Petrochemical Plant, Reza
Ghasemi-Shahri said: "Diversification of the output portfolio of the company
by offering new grades, supporting manufacturers and knowledge-based companies
to eliminate the need to import spare parts and equipment, and reducing
production risks are some of the most important programs being implemented by
the petrochemical company.”
In a meeting with the president and members of the National
Union of Petrochemical Downstream Industries, Mr. Shahri referred to the role
and position of polyethylene terephthalate products in the supply of raw
materials for medical, textile, food packaging, etc., calling for satisfying the
needs of the market by the help of trade unions and petrochemical companies.
He outlined his company’s main priorities as communication
and cooperation with knowledge-based companies and universities, increasing the
ratio of production to nominal capacity from 67% in 2018 to 85% in the year of
"Production Leap,” offering new and various grades such as black-veil grade,
low melt, supporting manufacturers and producers of spare parts, fixed and rotating
machines with the aim of reducing production risks and saving hard currency spending.
