Speaking to NIPNA, Mohammad Reza Janafi Manesh stated that
the cooperation of petrochemical companies in supplying materials needed in the
automotive industries is both beneficial to the country's economy and
supportive of domestic production.
The official also called for opening a line of credit for
the auto parts manufacturing industry.
He said: "One of our problems today is the lack of
liquidity, therefore, if petrochemical companies create an LC according to our
needs, we will have good openings in this sector.”
He added that petrochemical companies could provide a
variety of materials to parts manufacturers. “We can work together to expand
localization and produce many auto parts in the country, which will prevent
hard currency flight from the country.”
