Sharifi said the project’s construction had reached 64.83% completion in the
first 6 months of the current calendar year, which began on March 21, adding
despite the coronavirus outbreak, the project has been able to gain valuable
achievements such as renewal of its feedstock supply agreement, receiving the
letter announcing Dena project to be at the top of the list of priority
projects of the Ministry of Petroleum.
He added:
"According to the plans, 150 million Euros is needed to complete the
project, the receipt of which from the facilities of the National Development
Fund of Iran is on the agenda."
The Dena methanol project is being built on a 7-hectare land
in the second phase of the Pars Special Economic Zone (Assaluyeh) to produce
1,650 tons of AA grade methanol.
