Behzad Mohammadi stated that once the third leap in the Iranian
petrochemical industry comes to fruition, the country would enjoy the region’s
first rank in the industry.
Mohammadi, who is also deputy petroleum minister for petrochemical
affairs, said 34 plans were to be launched by 2025 as the third leap of the industry
which, besides enhancing the production capacity of the industry, bring about a
resilient sector for the country’s economy.
He also considers propulsion projects to be the key to the
development of the petrochemical industry, and said: "Construction of propulsion
and combined feedstock projects is likely be activated under the current administration,
but the process of their completion will continue in the next administration."
