During a visit to the plant, located in the western province of Hamedan,
the CEO of the National Petrochemical Company (NPC) reviewed the latest
developments in the project.
The project is being built as one of the plants in the second leap of the
petrochemical industry of Iran which is planned to bring Iran’s petrochemical production
capacity to 100 million tons per year from currently 66 mt/y.
The facility will come on stream in the remainder of the current calendar
year, which began on March 20, with 45,000 tons of production capacity per
year.
